Job Requisition # Technical Specialist (Open) Responsibilities Start, operate, and shut down blow molding machines according to production schedules and safety standards. Perform mould or colour change overs. Instruct and monitor staff. Collaborate with supervisors on back checking non-conformities. Report breakdowns and non-conformances. Reject non-complying product. Adjust machine settings within defined parameters to maintain product quality and efficiency. Reject defective products and elevate recurring quality issues to the supervisor. Request maintenance support for equipment malfunctions. Recommend improvements to machine operation or workflow to enhance productivity. Ensure production per work order. Ensure products are packed according to packing specifications. Complete quality checks on quality control documents as per company quality schedule. Set up extruder speeds on status and machine stops. Activate parison length controller (when available) and use the “TEST” adjustment function as required. Conduct basic machine maintenance and cleaning (Autonomous Maintenance); identify and report mechanical issues or malfunctions to a production supervisor and, when possible, a maintenance team member. Update daily the Autonomous Maintenance (AM) Leader Standard Work (LSW) operator checklist. Check machine material feeding hoppers, monitor polymer usage to prevent waste, report non-conforming situations to immediate supervisor for corrective action, eliminate lumps and waste of raw material during setup and running of blow molding machine.
