The role is based in Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth), Eastern Cape. It is a permanent, full‑time position. Key Responsibilities Supervise daily production activities to meet output targets. Lead, mentor and develop production teams. Monitor efficiency and implement improvements. Ensure quality standards and reduce defects. Work with engineering and maintenance to minimise downtime. Maintain strict health, safety and environmental compliance. Analyse production data and adjust schedules. Manage workforce planning, shift coordination and resource allocation. Use systems such as SAP, SCADA or DCS for monitoring. Requirements Proven experience as a Production Supervisor in steel, manufacturing or heavy industry. Strong leadership and team‑management skills. Good knowledge of production processes, quality control and continuous‑improvement methods. Experience with SAP, SCADA or DCS systems. Understanding of OHS regulations. Ability to analyse data and optimise performance. Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities.
