Qualification Relevant Tertiary Business / Sales Qualification will be an advantage Requirements Sales management experience within the manufacturing industry, preferably food ingredients. Must be able to travel monthly to coastal regions of SA and also in Africa (Zimbabwe, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Ghana, Zambia, Botswana, etc) as required. Sales experience and sales management experience into Africa is an advantage. Must have managed a sales team before - current team is 8 people. Must have strong analytical skills, be fully computer literate, must be strong with Excel and enjoy working with data. Duties Team coaching and effectiveness management. Appoint, build and maintain a first class cohesive sales team and provide ongoing motivation. Working in field with the sales team on a weekly basis. Managing own strategic and very specific key accounts. Assess and prioritise: target customers (based on products and strength of existing relationships); business opportunities; the regional selling environment; and brand campaigns.
