POSITION Millwright LOCATION Tongaat, Kwa-Zulu Natal SUMMARY Our client in the Automotive manufacturing sector is seeking an experienced Millwright whom will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining heavy mechanical equipment and/or machinery used in the manufacturing process. RESPONSIBILITIES Aligning and testing equipment and/or machinery to ensure optimal performance Performs planned and preventative maintenance Machine and/or equipment cleaning and lubricating Resolve machine breakdowns, identification of faults, repair or replace defective parts with minimal downtime Align and calibrate machinery and equipment parts as required for safe and efficient operation Report writing and overall feedback on plant equipment. Day by day tracking of machine problems Weekly tracking of plant facilities. (Air, water and electricity) Inspecting and examining equipment and/or machinery to detect and investigate irregularities and malfunctions Installing, aligning, commissioning, repairing, diagnosing, inspect, dismantling and moving stationary machinery and mechanical equipment Operating machine tools to fabricate parts required during the overhaul, maintenance and set up of machinery and/or equipment Adjusting machinery and/or equipment and/or repairing or replacing of defective parts MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Matric Minimum N4 qualification in Electrical Qualified Millwright / Red Seal Qualification or Trade Test in all disciplines Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in Automotive Manufacturing or manufacturing environment PLC and Basic robotic experience #J-18808-Ljbffr
