Minimum Requirements Valid passport and legal right to work in Tanzania, or ability to obtain the necessary work authorization. Currently residing in Arusha, Tanzania, or willing to relocate permanently to Arusha. Degree or Diploma in Sales, Marketing, Hospitality Management, Tourism or a related field. Minimum 5 years' sales and marketing experience within hospitality, tourism, safari or luxury travel sectors. Strong understanding of the East African tourism market and DMC landscape. Proven experience managing travel trade relationships and generating revenue growth. Excellent presentation, negotiation and relationship-building skills. Strong commercial acumen and market analysis capabilities. Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems. Willingness to travel extensively within Tanzania as required. Key Responsibilities Sales, Marketing & Client Engagement Build and maintain strong relationships with DMCs throughout Tanzania. Conduct regular sales calls, presentations and training sessions with travel trade partners. Ensure properties remain top-of-mind with DMCs and international agents. Increase inclusion of properties within safari and travel itineraries. Coordinate and host site inspections and familiarisation (FAM) trips. Identify new business opportunities and develop strategic partnerships. Drive sales initiatives to increase occupancy and revenue performance. Brand Representation & Market Intelligence Represent the brand at industry events, trade shows and networking functions. Monitor competitor activity, market trends and customer preferences. Conduct regular market visits and competitor assessments. Provide market intelligence and recommendations to support business growth. Identify emerging opportunities within the luxury safari and tourism sector. Support the development and execution of sales and marketing strategies. Operational Support Assist with the day-to-day oversight and coordination of the Arusha office. Support logistical and administrative operations relating to the Tanzania properties. Coordinate with drivers, suppliers and operational teams where required. Assist with the movement and coordination of goods between properties. Support the Area General Manager with administrative and operational matters. Ensure the office operates as an efficient hub for Tanzanian operations.
