Work within a dynamic, fast-evolving tech environment Take ownership of full-cycle accounting for multiple legal entities Collaborate closely with IT, procurement, and FP&A teams Contribute to strong governance, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency Be part of an organisation that values innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement What you will be doing: Financial Reporting & Close Lead month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close cycles Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and adjustments Oversee AP transaction posting, expense allocations, and intercompany entries Prepare entity-level financial statements and supporting schedules Ensure compliance with IFRS/ASPE/US GAAP Support consolidation and intercompany eliminations Cash & Bank Management Perform and review monthly bank reconciliations Monitor cash balances and coordinate funding needs Investigate and clear reconciling items promptly Procurement & IT Cost Accounting Oversee accounting for software licences, SaaS, IT services, and capitalized development costs Ensure correct capitalization vs. expense treatment Monitor prepaid expenses and vendor contracts Review procurement transactions for accuracy and policy adherence Cost Analysis & Budget Tracking Analyse IT and procurement costs and track spend vs. budget Provide variance analysis with clear insights Identify cost optimisation opportunities Support annual budget and re‑forecast cycles Intercompany & Allocations Manage intercompany billings and allocations Reconcile intercompany balances monthly Support transfer pricing documentation Team Leadership Build, mentor, and manage an accounting team Establish scalable processes and clear role expectations Drive a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement Internal Controls & Compliance Maintain and strengthen internal controls Ensure compliance with corporate procurement and financial policies Support external audits and statutory reporting Coordinate with tax advisors on compliance requirements What we are looking for: Minimum of a completed accounting degree, CIMA or part or similar accounting professional qualification 5+ years of progressive financial accounting experience Experience working with multi‑entity or shared services structures, strong preference to working with multi currencies Strong understanding of IT and procurement-related cost accounting ERP experience (whether SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Dynamics, etc.) Advanced Excel proficiency, essential Experience supervising or building teams Benefits & unique aspects: Opportunity to build and shape a new accounting function High visibility within finance and operational leadership teams Exposure to complex IT cost structures and global procurement processes Career growth within a modern, evolving finance organisation Please note if you haven't heard back from us within two weeks of submitting your application, unfortunately your application has not been successful this time.
