Key Responsibilities Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve monthly and annual revenue targets Identify and pursue new business opportunities (residential, commercial, and project based sales) Drive cross selling across product ranges Monitor sales pipeline and conversion rates, ensuring consistent followups Marketing Planning & Execution Develop and implement an annual and quarterly marketing plan aligned with sales targets Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns, including: Digital marketing In store/showroom promotions Events, exhibitions, and product launches Oversee creation and distribution of marketing collateral (brochures, catalogues, showroom displays) Ensure brand consistency across all channels in line with supplier brand guidelines Track and measure marketing effectiveness (ROI, lead generation, conversion rates) Align marketing activities with seasonal demand and local market dynamics Showroom Management Oversee day to day operations of the showroom Ensure showroom displays are maintained to a high standard and aligned with brand guidelines Optimize customer experience within the showroom to maximize walk in conversion rates Team Leadership Manage, train, and motivate Brand Ambassadors Set individual sales targets and monitor performance Conduct regular coaching sessions and performance reviews Ensure strong product knowledge across all team members Maintain discipline in CRM usage and sales reporting Customer Relationship Management Oversee handling of all incoming leads (walk-ins, calls, digital inquiries) Ensure timely and professional communication with clients Support the team in closing high value or complex deals Manage key accounts and strategic customer relationships Sales Process & Operations Ensure adherence to the full sales cycle: Lead qualification Site visits / measurements Quotation preparation Order confirmation Handover to installation team Coordinate closely with technical teams to ensure smooth project delivery Resolve customer issues or escalations efficiently Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis Continuously monitor industry trends, including construction, home improvement, and security solutions markets Track competitor activity, including pricing, promotions, product offerings, and positioning Analyze market developments in Mauritius, including customer preferences and emerging demand patterns Provide regular insights and strategic recommendations to management Identify opportunities for new product introductions or market expansion Benchmark company performance against competitors Reporting & Performance Tracking Prepare weekly and monthly sales and marketing reports Prepare sales forecasts across all brands Track KPIs such as: Conversion rates Average deal size Sales cycle duration Sales performance against budgets Lead response time Marketing ROI and lead generation metrics Provide insights and recommendations to improve performance The Successful Applicant A strong background in sales, preferably within the construction or retail sector. Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a team. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. A track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets. Strong analytical and problem solving abilities. Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools. A degree in business, marketing, or a related field is advantageous.
