About the role The Marketing and Events Coordinator candidate plays a vital role , coordinating and maintaining the entitys brand identity and promotional materials inventory. This includes coordinating and maintaining the intranet, which encompasses images, files, documents, as well as database maintenance. Reporting to the Business Growth Manager, the Marketing and Events Coordinator will be responsible for developing, creating, and implementing a wide range of activities. This includes conducting industry and product research, copywriting, editing, and proofreading tasks, as well as ensuring corporate identity alignment, quality control, and successful rollout of marketing tasks. Assist with product, project, and event planning, and coordination. Preparing reports and assisting in communication campaigns across all marketing channels and platforms, insupport of our Hosting, Recruitment and Workplace functionalities.Marketing and Host Functionality & Coordination Assist the marketing department with initiative as operationally required. Compiling Reports, pertaining to market research and competitor alignment as required. Distribute newsletters via a CRM System. Develop and maintain all mailing lists ensuring they are kept up to date. Maintain databases (employees and clients) in support of them team. Collating and preparing Portal content, updates, photos, and images in relation to the events. Collating and preparing content, consent forms, photos, and images for Power f One stories". Planning & Facilitation of all events and career fairs, and Host Partner visits Coordinate efforts to identify new host partners through the social media platform. Distributing the marketing material and content. Preparing and ordering printed marketing collateral. Liaising with designers, developers, and suppliers. Coordinate and schedule all radio interviews and meeting invites for TV & social media interviews. Creating reports. Drive client service excellence and be customer oriented Champion and managing the Marketing RDMS Cloud. Assist and train new members of the Marketing Department within marketing-related information, and collateral and help them understand the business and platforms used. Corporate Identity and Branding Implementation, alignment, and roll-out of corporate identity. Quality control across all channels and platforms, making sure brand governance is in place. Align and conform to the basic corporate templates. Make sure the latest branded collaterals are on the RDMS Cloud & Portal in support of the team. Content Development (Copywriting and editing) Content development for specific project campaigns. Content development for social media posts. Content development for newsletters (both to employees and clients). Content development for collateral items, profiles, and brochures. Content development for digital items, websites, and online platforms and webinars. Review, proofread, and edit copy in general as operationally required. Marketing Research Collaborate with the Insights & Marketing Enablement Officer in the target market and audience research related projects. Research project-specific content as required. Research company-specific content as required. Research current industry news and market trends on a regular basis Hosting Coordinator and planning Assist, plan, and coordinate in partnership with Host Coordinator around Host Identification. Coordinate New Host partner introduction sessions as and when required. Plan, and coordinate Host related webinars Attend required partner visits as and when required Onboarding of new candidates Attend industry related summits to Identify possible host partners Digital & Social Media Assist in developing digital and social media campaigns as required. Regularly update content on social media platforms, websites, and portal. Monitor online publicity links to other sites, competitors etc. Identify key opportunities internally and externally. Obtain and compile monthly reports on the status of each platform and websites. service, reporting and day-to-day management of SLAs Continuously source new hosting partners for the purpose of providing clients a list of credible smmes to host their candidates Collaborate with and assist /coach team members as necessary while being aware of own contribution /deliverable towards the success and performance of the department Education South African Unemployed youth between the ages of 18 and 34. Must not have participated on the YES programme before. Matric. Diploma in Marketing and or Branding Computer literate (MS Office at least intermediary skill in word, excel, power-point). Ability to occasionally bend, stoop and reach for work tools of trade etc. Ability to occasionally lift and carry standard office items/tools of trade.
