We are looking for a Data Analyst: Retail Media to join one of the most exciting new growth areas in PEP. This role will help turn PEP’s customer, retail and campaign data into powerful insights that support audience planning, supplier reporting, campaign measurement and better business decisions. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Analyse customer, campaign, loyalty, product, supplier and Retail Media data. Deliver insight packs, reports and recommendations that answer real business questions. Support customer profiling, audience sizing and descriptive segmentation. Build and maintain trusted reports, dashboards and reusable data assets. Perform data validation, reconciliation and QA checks to ensure outputs are accurate and reliable. Support campaign planning, supplier reporting, performance tracking and measurement outputs. Provide data extracts and analysis to support the Measurement & Performance Analyst. Translate business questions into clear, practical and easy-to-understand insights. Identify trends, opportunities and risks from customer and campaign data. ROLE REQUIREMENTS Education and Experience: Business degree with Analytical/Commercial subjects (e.g., Computer Sc., Maths, Eng.) 3–5 years’ experience in data analytics or a related data-driven role. Experience developing reports, dashboards and descriptive analysis. Experience working with customer, campaign, loyalty, product, supplier or Retail Media data. Experience translating business questions into analytical outputs and recommendations. Technical Skills: BigQuery SQL. Advanced Excel / Google Workspace. Data visualisation tools such as Looker Studio. Data extraction, transformation and analytical table creation. Data cleaning, enrichment, validation and reconciliation. Customer, campaign, loyalty, product and supplier data analysis. Descriptive analytics, audience profiling and segmentation. Knowledge and understanding of POPIA. Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability. Commercially curious and able to spot opportunities in data. Clear communicator who can explain insights in simple business language. High attention to detail and commitment to quality. Proactive, self-motivated and able to take ownership.
