Our client, a well-established SME business, is seeking a highly organised and experienced Accounts & Office Administrator to join their small, dynamic team. This role is ideally suited to someone who is detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable managing both financial and administrative functions in a hands-on environment. Requirements Matric (Grade 12) Finance qualification (degree or diploma) Minimum of 10 years’ experience in accounts administration, bookkeeping, or office administration Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel Solid experience with invoicing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable Proven experience with bank and VAT reconciliations Experience within a small or medium-sized business environment preferred Exposure to export transactions and foreign currency (US$) payments advantageous Key Responsibilities Accounts & Finance Generate and issue accurate customer invoices in a timely manner Manage accounts receivable, including follow-ups on outstanding payments Process supplier invoices, payments, and maintain supporting documentation Manage supplier prepayments and allocate against future deliveries Perform bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies Track and record business expenses, ensuring correct allocation and categorisation Assist with foreign currency (US$) transactions and export-related documentation Prepare financial information for external accountants, audits, and tax submissions Administration & Operations Maintain accurate financial and operational records using Excel Oversee general office administration and filing systems Provide day-to-day administrative support to management Assist with operational coordination and reporting as required Personal Attributes High level of accuracy and attention to detail Strong organisational and time management skills Ability to work independently and take initiative Trustworthy, with a high level of confidentiality Practical, hands-on approach in a small team environment This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional looking to play a key role in a growing SME , where your contribution will have a direct impact on the efficiency and success of the business. #J-18808-Ljbffr
