Job Description The Service Technician reports to the Service Manager and is responsible for performing a range of HVAC jobs for light commercial and residential customers. A Service Technician must be able to accurately diagnose repairs needed on a variety of residential and light commercial heating and air conditioning systems for the benefit of the customer and JC Warner. The technician must be reliable, dependable, and willing to learn. Troubleshoot and repair a variety of residential and light commercial HVAC systems. Communicate upfront pricing before completion of repairs with homeowners and building owners. Provide referrals for qualified leads to the sales staff. Perform related duties as directed by the Service Manager. Qualifications High school graduate, GED or suitable equivalent. 2+ years HVAC experience. Good verbal and reading skills; able to communicate clearly with residential and commercial customers, suppliers, and other JC Warner employees. On‑call rotation for after hours, weekends, holidays. Physically agile and able to work in confined spaces in all weather conditions. Current Maryland driver’s license and clean driving record.
