Job & Company Description: As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and execution of electrical systems across mining projects. You will play a key role in both greenfields and brownfields environments, contributing technical expertise from concept design through to commissioning.This role requires a hands-on engineer who can manage multiple projects, provide technical insight, and ensure delivery aligned to quality, budget, and timelines.Education: BSc / BEng / BTech in Electrical Engineering ECSA registration (Pr Eng / Pr Tech Eng advantageous) Job Experience & Skills Required: Minimum 7 years experience in the mining industry Proven experience in electrical design and commissioning Strong knowledge of LV and MV electrical systems Experience in brownfields and greenfields projects Ability to review and evaluate technical and vendor proposal Experience with electrical schematics and system design Understanding of relevant industry standards and regulations Project management and coordination capability Strong communication and multidisciplinary collaboration skills ETAP experience advantageous Key Responsibilities: Design LV and MV electrical distribution systems Develop schematics, connection diagrams, and detailed designs Review and evaluate client and vendor proposals Perform FAT and SAT activities and support commissioning Conduct functional testing and fault finding on installations Provide technical input across project lifecycle Ensure compliance with standards and specifications Support project planning, scheduling, and delivery Prepare quotations and manage discipline-specific deliverables Additional Requirements: Willingness to travel and work on-site when required Valid drivers license and passport Ability to obtain a medical fitness certificate Apply now!
