Job Description We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented SAIPA Graduate Accountant to join our team at MC Design. The successful candidate will support the finance department with daily accounting functions, reconciliations, reporting, and project administration while gaining practical experience within a fast-paced engineering and contracting environment. Banking & Cash Management Process daily cashbook transactions on Zoho Perform weekly bank reconciliations Prepare cash flow forecast Process and reconcile company debit and credit cards Labour & Cost Processing Import labour data into Zoho Process VAST labour invoicing to clear wage accounts Maintain and update labour-related records and reconciliations Debtors & Project Administration Prepare and send billing requests based on job books Capture and process customer invoices Send debtor follow-ups and customer statements Create and maintain projects on Zoho, including budget and variation updates Month-End Reporting & Reconciliations Prepare monthly fuel and cell phone reports Process fixed asset reconciliations, capitalization, and expensing Assist with month-end reporting and account reconciliations Other adhoc tasks, reports and responsibilities as and when required Requirements BCom Degree from a SAIPA accredited tertiary institution or equivalent Basic accounting and reconciliation knowledge Experience using accounting systems and Microsoft Excel Important Characteristics of Person Required for Position Effective verbal and written communication skills High level of attention to detail and analytical and problem-solving abilities High level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical behaviour Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team Demonstrate a commitment to self-development and growth Ability to manage multiple deadlines and maintain accuracy under pressure Benefits Collaborate with experienced multidisciplinary teams Be part of a company that values innovation, quality, and people Competitive remuneration and growth opportunities #J-18808-Ljbffr
