Duties: Design and oversee wet services systems (water supply, drainage, stormwater, and sewer). Develop and review fire protection systems (sprinklers, hydrants, hose reels, and detection systems). Ensure compliance with SANS codes, municipal regulations, and relevant industry standards. Prepare detailed engineering designs, drawings, and specifications. Conduct site inspections, audits, and commissioning support. Manage projects from concept through to completion, including coordination with multi-disciplinary teams. Liaise with clients, contractors, and authorities for approvals and project delivery. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and draughtsmen. Minimum Requirements: BEng/BSc in Mechanical or Civil Engineering Professionally registered with the Engineering Council of South Africa (Pr Eng) 510+ years experience in building services engineering Proven experience in wet services and fire protection design Strong knowledge of SANS 10400 and fire-related codes Proficiency in relevant design software (e.g. AutoCAD and Revit) Apply now!
