Job Responsibilities Supervises and guides junior testers in meeting objectives. Attends to enquiries and provides advice and support to branch offices, colleagues from other departments, system users, and vendors. Attends product, system, and regulatory meetings with assessment and initiates proposed enhancements. Plans, coordinates, and performs user acceptance testing of new products and system enhancements, including requirement and defect management for on-time implementation; attends and initiates MIS extraction to support reporting, performance monitoring, and statistical analysis. Evaluates and monitors defect‑fixing status with rectification and solutioning to minimize impact on daily business processing and implementation. Coordinates, advises, and updates functional HODs and leads on enhancement requirements, prioritization, implementation, and impact analysis to meet business objectives. Prepares and maintains ISO documentation or SOPs and ensures compliance with ISO standards; plans and organizes training for staff, system users, and junior testers with updated guides, manuals, and procedures. Reviews suspense balances, outstanding provision accounts, expired cheques or failed payments, unpaid approved claims, exception reports, and coordinates/carries out necessary financial reconciliation, rectification, and clearance within the specified timeframe. Participates in projects under the department, division, and/or company and attends to any other tasks assigned from time to time. Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and taking appropriate steps to mitigate them. Maintains awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats, and technologies to better safeguard the company. Highlights potential concerns or risks and proactively shares best risk‑management practices. Qualifications and Competencies Tertiary education, preferably in Business Studies, Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, or AMII, AAII, FLMI, or equivalent, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience. 3 to 5 years’ experience in the life and/or general insurance industry. Experience and knowledge in system testing and development. Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience. Strong interpersonal, public‑relations, analytical, problem‑solving, delegation, supervisory, negotiation, and computer skills, and ability to produce high‑quality work under pressure.
