Babylonstore is looking for an Industrial Relations Partner to play a key role in supporting a workforce of approximately 1,000 employees, ensuring healthy employee relations, legal compliance, and constructive engagement between employees and management. This is a hands‑on, advisory role for someone who understands the balance between business needs, employee wellbeing, and labour legislation — and who can confidently navigate complex people matters with empathy and authority. Requirements 3–5 years' experience in an Industrial Relations or Employee Relations role Solid working knowledge of South African labour legislation Experience managing disciplinary processes Strong judgement, emotional intelligence, and conflict‑resolution skills Confident communicator who can influence at all levels Ability to remain calm, fair, and solutions‑focused in sensitive situations Responsibilities Manage and advise on employee and industrial relations matters across the business Guide managers through misconduct, incapacity, poor performance, and grievance processes Ensure disciplinary and grievance procedures are fair, compliant, and consistently applied Support CCMA cases and external labour processes Provide advice on labour legislation, company policies, and best practice Identify trends and proactively reduce employee relations risk Support the development and rollout of IR policies, frameworks, and training Will be reporting to HR Manager Why Join Us A role with real influence across a large and diverse workforce Opportunity to work closely with leadership and shape people practices A values‑driven environment that prioritises fairness and respect Professional growth within the HR team #J-18808-Ljbffr
