A well-established Manufacturing Engineering company is looking for an ‘HR Officer’ to join their team on a full-time permanent basis in the Northern Suburbs, Cape Town. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, or a related field Proficient in Chinese Experience in an HR role (essential) Solid understanding of South African labour legislation Computer and HR Systems literacy Willingness to work unusual hours (only if and when required) Strong administrative and organisational skills High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Key Performance Areas: Recruitment and Onboarding Support: Manage the full recruitment process, including advertising vacancies, screening applications, coordinating interviews, and preparing appointment documentation Coordinate and manage onboarding processes for new employees Prepare onboarding packs and arrange onboarding and promotion gifts Maintain accurate recruitment and onboarding records and documentation Learning and Development Administration: Coordinate training administration across the business Maintain accurate training records Prepare and submit the Workplace Skills Plan (WSP) and Annual Training Report (ATR) Liaise with training providers and relevant stakeholders where required Support audits and compliance reporting through accurate record-keeping HR Administration and Records: Prepare and maintain HR documentation such as contracts, job descriptions, letters, and policy related records Ensure HR documentation is correctly prepared and available for audit and compliance purposes Work closely with the payroll function to ensure accurate flow of employee information where required Prepare HR-related reports for management as required Compliance and Reporting: Support compliance with BCEA, LRA, EEA, BBBEE and COIDA requirements Assist with statutory submissions and maintain compliance-related documentation Support audits through accurate and well-maintained records Employee Support: Act as a point of contact for employee HR-related queries and elevate matters where appropriate Coordinate Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) referrals and related administration Applying for this position: If you are interested in this opportunity, please send your CV. #J-18808-Ljbffr
