Overview An established industrial automation and robotics company is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to join their food and beverage and electrical department. The successful candidate will take full ownership of project scheduling, documentation, procurement coordination, and site team management from initial project kick-off through to final factory acceptance testing and handover. Details Location: Pretoria Salary Range: R40 000 R50 000 CTC p/m Working Hours: 8am 5pm Mondays to Fridays Qualifications NDip, BTech, or BEng in Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering Requirements 3 to 5 years of experience in an electrical project or industrial automation environment Demonstrated experience in project scheduling, documentation, and drawing control Panel build, commissioning, or factory acceptance testing experience Proven ability to manage and direct a technical team on site Strong organisational skills with the ability to function well under pressure and meet hard deadlines Strong personality with excellent team collaboration and communication skills Valid driver's license and own reliable transportation Software: MS Office MS Project Sage Advantageous FMCG or food and beverage sector project experience Programmable logic controllers, electrical and instrumentation, or control systems exposure Eplan or electrical drafting software exposure International project delivery experience Responsibilities Develop and manage detailed project schedules aligned to client and internal requirements Generate and review electrical design drawings while managing revisions and documentation control Compile project data books for quality inspections and factory acceptance testing Direct daily tasking and coordination of the site execution team including technicians and apprentices Prepare procurement packages including scoping, obtaining quotes, approving orders, and expediting material delivery Track project budgets while identifying and managing scope changes and engineering change requests Liaise with multi-disciplinary teams, suppliers, and clients to ensure milestones are met Provide regular and structured project status updates to senior management
