Key Responsibilities Prepare monthly and annual financial statements Process and review bookkeeping records for clients Perform reconciliations including bank, debtors, creditors, and VAT Prepare and submit VAT, PAYE, and other statutory returns Assist with management accounts and financial reporting Liaise with clients regarding accounting and tax queries Ensure compliance with SARS and CIPC requirements Assist with audit preparation and supporting documentation Maintain accurate and organised client records Support senior accountants and managers with ad hoc tasks Minimum Requirements Minimum 2+ years’ experience within an accounting firm Strong bookkeeping and accounting knowledge Experience working with accounting software such as Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, Pastel, or similar Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Strong attention to detail and organisational skills Good communication and interpersonal abilities Advantageous Qualifications & Experience Completed accounting degree or relevant tertiary qualification Completed or partially completed SAIPA or SAICA articlesExperience with drafting financial statements and tax submissions Exposure to multiple client portfolios within a practice environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
