SENIOR C#/.NET SOFTWARE ENGINEER This is an excellent opportunity for a SENIOR C#/.NET SOFTWARE ENGINEER - with Azure cloud experience who has built scalable microservices (and ideally payment systems) in high-volume transactional environments, and who can lead engineering teams. You can be based in either CAPE TOWN or JOHANNESBURG. THE ROLE: As the Software Engineering Tech Lead, you will play a key role in shaping the payments technology ecosystem. Leading a team of talented engineers, you’ll drive the design and development of high‑quality applications across multiple platforms. Working in a fast‑moving agile environment, you’ll influence the product roadmap, champion engineering best practices such as CI/CD and TDD, and mentor developers to consistently deliver strong sprint outcomes. Solid understanding of microservices architecture, distributed systems, APIs, and event‑driven design. Expertise in CI/CD, automated testing, and DevOps‑aligned practices. Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure). Familiarity with secure coding principles and best practices.
