ABOUT THIS ROLE Are you a strategic and creative Brand Manager with a passion for driving growth and delivering impactful campaigns? A well-established organisation based in Umhlanga is seeking a Brand Manager (Gifting) to take full ownership of brand and category performance within the gifting space. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with data and insights, and has a strong ability to turn strategy into execution. You will play a key role in shaping brand direction, managing innovation projects, and leading a complex, large-scale gifting function to deliver commercially successful and consumer‑relevant campaigns. WHAT YOU WILL DO Manage and drive the overall performance of gifting brands and categories, ensuring growth targets are achieved Analyse market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitor activity to develop actionable insights and strategies Lead innovation projects from concept through to market launch, including product development and feasibility assessments Manage the annual gifting process end-to‑end, including artwork updates across hundreds of components, supplier coordination, costings, and real‑time problem solving Navigate complex projects involving multiple stakeholders, ensuring smooth execution and effective conflict resolution Drive the annual refresh of the gifting mix, ensuring products remain innovative, on‑trend, and exciting for consumers Develop and implement brand strategies, promotional plans, and pricing strategies within the gifting portfolio Prepare and present performance reports and insights to senior and global stakeholders Manage and mentor a team of Assistant Brand Managers (Junior and Senior level), driving performance and development Oversee budgets, forecasts, and financial performance of gifting categories Ensure all brand elements are executed effectively to remain competitive and relevant in the market WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Proven experience in Brand Management, preferably within gifting, FMCG, or a consumer‑driven environment Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies Experience managing innovation and product development projects Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex, large‑scale projects simultaneously Strong leadership experience, including managing and developing a team Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills (including senior/global stakeholders) Creative mindset with the ability to keep brands relevant, on‑trend, and engaging Strong commercial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting and cost management If you are a strategic thinker with a creative edge and a passion for building successful gifting brands, we’d love to hear from you. #J-18808-Ljbffr
