ABOUT THIS ROLE Are you an experienced Auditor with a strong background in quality, environmental, and health & safety systems? A well-established manufacturing organisation based in Stanger is seeking a Automotive Quality Engineer - (IBMS) to lead and drive the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of integrated management systems. This is a senior-level role suited to someone who thrives in a structured, compliance-driven environment and has a deep understanding of ISO standards and auditing processes. You will play a key role in ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement across the business. WHAT YOU WILL DO Lead and coordinate the development and continuous improvement of the Integrated Business Management System (IBMS) Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and IATF 16949 standards Conduct system and process audits, ensuring timely closure of findings Oversee documentation control and ensure alignment with legal and regulatory requirements Support and guide departments on quality-related training and audit readiness Manage and monitor QMS processes and procedures in line with latest standards and CSR requirements Drive root cause analysis and failure management systems, reporting findings to Quality Interface with multiple departments and stakeholders across the business Compile detailed audit reports and provide actionable recommendations WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Quality Assurance, or related field (Essential) B-Tech / Degree in Engineering (Advantageous) Minimum 5 years’ experience auditing ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 19011 standards Minimum 5 years’ experience in SHEQ auditing within a manufacturing environment Strong knowledge of Quality Core Tools At least 3 years’ experience in a supervisory or similar role VDA 6.3:2016 Process Auditor certification (Advantageous) Proven experience in implementing and maintaining integrated management systems If you are a driven and detail-oriented auditing professional looking to take on a strategic role within a manufacturing environment, we’d love to hear from you.
