Dispatch Supervisor We are currently recruiting for a Dispatch Supervisor to join the dynamic team based in Montague Gardens. Duties & Responsibilities Maintain workflow by motivating drivers and vehicle loading assistants to work fast and correctly. Check that drivers and vehicle loading assistants are at work and report absentees timeously to the Logistics Manager. Ensure that drivers and vehicle loading assistants plus you are wearing clean undamaged protective clothing as per company policy. Assist the Logistics Manager in planning the daily dispatch routes and loading activities. Source completed invoices from invoicing personnel. Ensure that all routes are documented on the trip sheet allocated to the delivery route. Ensure that all individual orders are marked off on the correct invoice copy when loading. Coordinate and control loading of final orders. Ensure products are checked for deviations from quality standards such as labels, lot or batch numbers, and packaging before loading. Ensure all products are correctly weighed before loading. Ensure good housekeeping practices in the dispatch area. Implement and maintain measures to reduce wastage of and damage to stock being loaded. Ensure that temperature controls for the dispatch area and all products to be loaded are adhered to. Train new personnel in loading actions. Desired Experience & Qualification Must have a Matric Certificate. Must have a minimum of 2 years experience in Dispatch Supervision.
