Overview A sound understanding of ICT industry practices and frameworks (MEF, TMForum etc) IT network services training and extensive knowledge of the below protocols and principles: Public network services - DHCP, DNS, ICMP, ENUM Security in Public IP Networks: DDoS, Firewalls, Access Control, RADIUS, AAA and security countermeasures Strong knowledge of WAN and W/LAN principles Internet service, business-quality service IP interconnect services: transit, peering, ISPs, service levels, class of service Layer 2 and Layer 3 technologies Traffic policing, shaping and Firewall management Software Defined Networks Unified Communication and VoIP principles NMS systems and functions Qualifications Minimum 3 plus years of relevant working experience Technical understanding of a system being analysed and how it affects the various business units Understanding and experience on multi-vendor IP systems Experience with regards to the integration of networks with 3rd party systems Able to work well with both internal and external clients and within a team Responsibilities Able to give Tier 2 support to the network Maintain Network configuration and service database Back office support - Incident management for failures betweencore sites IP routing optimization Firewall/security Monitoring and Management Regular patching in terms of security new versions and bug fixing Network on boarding and LAN Network integration support Service desk/call center services and equipment and management IP Core and DWDM Tier 2 support and 3rd Party Support escalation requirements Root Cause Analysis investigations Network Optimization Daily/weekly and Monthly reporting on core interfacing services and equipment #J-18808-Ljbffr
