Role Description This is a full‑time, on‑site role for a Phlebotomist at our facility in the Town of Hermanus. The Phlebotomist will be responsible for drawing blood samples and ensuring proper handling, labeling, and documentation. Duties include maintaining a clean and safe workspace, communicating effectively with patients to ensure their comfort, and collaborating with laboratory staff to ensure timely processing of samples. Adherence to safety and infection control protocols is essential. Qualifications Proficient in Blood Collection techniques and related laboratory skills Knowledge of Medical Terminology and foundational understanding of Medicine Experience or training in Medical Assisting, with strong attention to patient care Attention to detail, accuracy, and adherence to safety procedures Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with patients and team members Previous experience in a clinical or laboratory setting is advantageous Completion of an accredited phlebotomy training program or equivalent qualification #J-18808-Ljbffr
