Job Description The Financial Manager will act as the second-in-command to the Group Financial Manager, overseeing a team of approximately 15 accountants and clerks. The role is centred on delivering accurate and insightful management accounts, supporting business decision‑making, and driving efficiencies across the finance function. With a strong focus on process improvement and automation, the successful candidate will play a key role in enhancing systems, streamlining workflows, and supporting the evolution of a modern, tech‑enabled finance environment. Key Responsibilities Oversee and manage a team of approximately 15 accountants and clerks. Deliver accurate and insightful management accounts. Support business decision‑making. Skills & Experience CA(SA) Retail or high‑volume environment exposure advantageous. Strong management accounting and commercial acumen. Proven ability to identify and implement process improvements. Interest in automation and finance technology, with exposure to tools such as Power BI, Python, or similar. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Ability to manage and develop a team effectively. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Proactive, innovative, and solutions‑driven mindset. Qualifications CA(SA).
