Our client, a well-established financial services firm is urgently seeking a Finance Manager to join their Bellville. Key Responsibilities Oversee the day-to-day financial operations and month-end processes Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with relevant accounting standards Manage VAT submissions and coordinate the annual audit process Provide financial insights and reports to senior management (Group FM and CFO) Lead and mentor junior finance staff, ensuring team efficiency and performance Maintain internal controls and support compliance requirements Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis as needed Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and other stakeholders Ensure accurate and timely reporting within group deadlines Support process improvements and implement best practices in finance What We’re Looking For Qualified CA(SA) with Articles completed and at least 2 years post-audit experience BCom Accounting/Finance degree essential Experience with VAT and annual audits No insurance industry experience required (but a plus) Comfortable working in a finance environment outside insurance is welcome Caseware experience beneficial but not mandatory EE candidate (African) preferred – management motivation possible if Salary & Benefits Competitive middle-market salary – negotiable Bonuses (performance-based) 13th cheque Apply for this role today – contact Mariaan Smit at Hire Resolve or connect via LinkedIn.
