MSA Outsourcing Solutions is urgently looking for a dedicated Bookkeeper to join one of our UK based clients. The ideal candidate will manage accounting records, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support various bookkeeping functions. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial integrity of our organization. Responsibilities Perform daily bookkeeping tasks, including data entry and transaction processing. Maintain accurate financial records for multiple client accounts. Manage and maintain accounts payable, including processing supplier invoices and preparing payables reports. Perform bank and credit card reconciliations regularly to ensure accuracy of financial records. Assist with VAT preparation and reporting in accordance with applicable regulations. Support basic credit control, including monitoring outstanding receivables and following up where necessary. Liaise with clients on a daily basis to address queries, obtain missing documentation, and clarify financial transactions. Ensure financial data is recorded accurately in QuickBooks Online Assist in preparing basic financial reports and summaries as required. Maintain supporting documentation and ensure proper record keeping for audit and compliance purposes. Support the finance team with ad-hoc bookkeeping or accounting tasks as required. Requirements Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or a similar role. Bookkeeping or accounting qualification (e.g., AAT or equivalent) or relevant experience. Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Online . Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and cloud-based accounting tools. Experience with bank reconciliations, VAT preparation, and payables management. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple clients. Good written and verbal communication skills for client interaction. Familiarity with UK VAT rules and basic compliance requirements is desirable. #J-18808-Ljbffr
