Job Purpose To maintain, repair, and assemble mechanical equipment and machinery to ensure smooth plant operations.Minimum Requirements Grade 12 / Matric Qualified Fitter Trade Test Certificate Minimum 3 years experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment Knowledge of mechanical maintenance and equipment assembly Ability to use hand and power tools safely Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Medically fit Willingness to work overtime and shifts when required Key Responsibilities Conduct maintenance and repairs on mechanical equipment Assemble, install, and align machinery components Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance Replace worn or damaged parts Assist with shutdown maintenance activities Ensure machinery operates efficiently and safely Maintain housekeeping standards in the work area Complete maintenance documentation and reports Follow all safety regulations and procedures Skills and Competencies Mechanical aptitude Problem-solving skills Attention to detail Ability to work under pressure Team player Good communication skills
