Were recruiting for an experienced High-Voltage Engineer to take ownership of primary high-voltage components and the structures that support and position them. This includes equipment such as high-voltage transformers, circuit breakers, disconnectors, current and voltage transformers, as well as associated cabling, line connections, and support structures. This is a senior, hands-on role where you'll lead both internal and external engineering teams and be involved end-to-end — from early-stage design through to execution and successful project delivery. What You'll Be Doing Converting functional requirements into detailed engineering designs and practical project plans Designing and validating integrated high-voltage solutions in line with customer requirements, industry standards, and regulatory frameworks Preparing, reviewing, and approving technical drawings, calculations, and project documentation Supporting the Lead Engineer and Technical Manager throughout all project phases, from concept design to execution engineering Identifying design risks and bottlenecks, implementing solutions, and ensuring quality and compliance throughout the project lifecycle What Were Looking For A Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering, Energy Technology, or a related discipline Strong experience with high-voltage components such as circuit breakers, disconnectors, and electrical connections (highly advantageous) A genuine interest in power networks, high-voltage systems, and energy infrastructure At least 4 years experience working in high-voltage environments Proven leadership or management experience within an engineering or technical team A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and a results-driven approach NB - Afrikaans fluency would be advantageous. #J-18808-Ljbffr
