Business growth will be mainly through Request For Quotation (RFQ) and/or consultation with new and existing customers. The individual's role includes supporting general managers to renew existing client agreements and working with Big Data to clean, analyse, interpret and report on large data sets. They must understand warehouse operations, calculate resource requirements, develop effective warehouse layout designs, and cost the operation, liaising with suppliers for cost inputs. MS Word and PowerPoint skills are required to package final solutions and commercials for clients. Duties and Responsibilities Identify, analyse and develop value-adding solutions for current and prospective clients Provide analysis and recommendations for solutions Analyse, compare, sense‑check, clean data sets Support business objectives through process design that is complete, relevant, error‑proofed and measurable Apply best practices to facilities design, focusing on flow, flexibility and compliance Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the Solutions Costing Model and ensure all costing inputs are signed off or supported by quotes Use AutoCAD, MS Visio and Power BI to produce detailed designs that feed into the costing model Understand labour regulations (24‑hour operations, shift allowance, shift patterns) and verify all productivity factors used in costings Develop relationships with key suppliers (racking, packaging, sprinklers, MHE) Conduct research to ensure productivity values align with industry standards Apply tools and methodologies such as material flow mapping, warehouse and layout design, qualitative flow measurement, manning requirements calculations, material handling equipment selection, storage density calculations, productivity calculations, work sampling, value stream mapping, problem solving and warehouse management systems to support solution development and implementation Develop business cases and feasibility studies, including ROI calculations, quantified value, opportunity for product improvements and future growth/revenue potential Initiate new product development, tools and solutions to enhance the solutions business, including e‑commerce and industry solutions in automotive, healthcare and beauty sectors Maintain client relationships based on competence, respect and trust Assist with technical and financial selling, document proposals and respond to tenders, RFQs and RFPs Review operations against proposed solutions in terms of volume, resource, MHE, process, revenue and cost Additional Job Information Must work well in a team Must show maturity level to work independently with minimal supervision Must show initiative and be motivated Excellent communication skills, both written and oral Have good numeric skills Work well under pressure and meet deadlines Handle multiple projects/RFQs with overlapping timelines Pay meticulous attention to detail Implement corrective action when required Effective administrative skills Methodical and precise in work Punctuality and time management skills are critical Available to work long hours when required and may be required to travel locally and internationally EEO Statement Strictly fair and non‑discriminatory selection procedures will be followed.
