REVENUE DIRECTOR – Sales & Reservations (Stellenbosch, Western Cape) Join one of South Africa’s most iconic luxury estates—where world class wine, hospitality, cuisine, and unforgettable experiences come together. The Revenue Director oversees revenue optimisation for accommodation and ancillary streams, reporting to the Chief Financial Officer and working cross‑functionally with Sales, Marketing, Finance and Operations to align commercial strategy with on‑the‑ground execution. Key Responsibilities Develop, implement and continuously refine pricing, inventory and yield management strategies to maximise ADR, occupancy, RevPAR and overall profitability. Apply yield management principles, displacement analysis, demand‑based pricing and length‑of‑stay controls to increase revenue. Identify opportunities to grow ancillary revenue through packages, upselling, cross‑selling and guest spend optimisation. Monitor competitor pricing, market intelligence and macro‑demand drivers to maintain optimal market positioning. Participate in commercial and executive meetings, providing strategic recommendations based on trading performance. Prepare short‑term, medium‑term and long‑term revenue forecasts and lead the annual rooms revenue budget. Track performance against budget, forecast and prior year, highlighting variances and recommending corrective actions. Manage the performance of all distribution channels, optimise channel mix and maintain rate parity and inventory accuracy. Produce daily, weekly and monthly revenue reports with analysis of performance drivers, risks and opportunities. Analyse key KPIs (ADR, occupancy, RevPAR, average length of stay, booking pace, cancellation trends, channel contribution, spend per guest) and present recommendations to senior leadership. Build and maintain revenue dashboards and reporting tools to improve visibility, accountability and decision‑making. Provide commercial guidance on group quotations, contracted business, promotions and special packages. Ensure revenue decisions are consistent with brand standards, contractual obligations and pricing governance. Oversee the use of revenue, PMS, channel management, BI and CRM systems, ensuring data integrity and reporting consistency. Develop and maintain SOPs, controls, governance processes and auditability for pricing changes and commercial approvals. Drive continuous process improvements and implement revenue management best practices. Experience and Qualifications Minimum 3‑5 years’ experience in revenue management within luxury hospitality, estates or multi‑revenue destination businesses. Proven experience in pricing, forecasting, channel management and revenue optimisation. Demonstrated success improving ADR, RevPAR, channel mix and total revenue performance. Experience in luxury hospitality and wine estates is advantageous. Formal training or certification in revenue management preferred. Valid South African identification and clear criminal record required. Skills and Competencies Strong analytical and numerical skills. Excellent planning, organisation and prioritisation skills.
