Responsibilities: Health & Safety Management:Conduct regular risk assessments and lead incident investigations to identify root causes and prevent recurrence. Plan and conduct internal health and safety audits, ensuring compliance with OHS and other relevant Act’s, regulations and standards. Monitor compliance testing for equipment and occupational hygiene findings. Develop emergency response systems, including fire safety, medical emergencies, and disaster recovery plans. Establish and maintain legal health and safety appointments. Align health and safety goals with overall business objectives and track performance metrics. Environmental Management:Oversee waste management, environmental impact assessments, and sustainability initiatives. Promote eco-friendly practices and implement continuous environmental improvements. Employee Engagement & Training:Organise and facilitate safety training programs, including hazard awareness and proper PPE usage. Promote mental health and well-being initiatives to foster a holistic safety culture. Encourage employee feedback and participation in health and safety programs. Job Requirements: Occupational Health and Safety Diploma or equivalent 5 – 10 years’ experience in a Health and Safety Managerial role Experience in FMCG would be beneficial
