Are you a recent graduate with a strong interest in finance, business, and the South African economic landscape? We’re looking for a Business Funding Graduate to join our Operations team on a 12-month contract, with exposure to loan origination, credit analysis, client engagement, and compliance. You’ll work closely with experienced professionals, gain hands‑on experience, and build a strong foundation in business finance. What You’ll Be Doing As a Graduate, you’ll shadow experienced team members, attend meetings, and be actively involved in the loan origination process. Your responsibilities will include: Reviewing and assessing business loan applications for completeness Analysing creditworthiness using scorecards and financial information Interpreting financial statements and SARS documentation Engaging with clients telephonically and in writing throughout the funding journey Following up on outstanding information and applications Assisting with loan quotes and proposals alongside the Credit and Legal teams Supporting pricing, repayment structures, and loan terms Delivering professional, efficient customer service while adhering to lending guidelines and compliance requirements What We’re Looking For NQF Level 7 qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field No work experience required. Strong understanding of basic accounting and finance principles Excellent communication skills (English required; additional languages are a plus) Highly organised, deadline-driven, and detail-oriented Self‑motivated, eager to learn, and adaptable A strong interest in South African businesses and economics High standards of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism Based in Cape Town Afrikaans proficiency Why Join Us?
