Job Description: NetSuite Solution Architect / Senior NetSuite Developer Duration: 12-month contract Location: Fully remote (within EST / CST time-zone) Role Overview We are seeking an experienced NetSuite Solution Architect / Senior NetSuite Developer with 7+ years' experience to take ownership of the technical health, architecture, and optimisation of the NetSuite ERP environment. This role requires a strong combination of advanced SuiteScript development , API integration expertise , and a deep understanding of end-to-end financial business processes. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing scalable ERP solutions, driving process improvements, and ensuring all technical customisations align with business and financial requirements. Responsibilities Integration Development Design, develop, and maintain NetSuite integrations with banks, internal platforms, third-party applications, and reporting tools Build and manage integrations using SuiteTalk, RESTlets, REST/SOAP APIs, and external web services Ensure secure, reliable, and scalable data exchange across systems Solution Architecture Analyse business and financial requirements to design scalable technical solutions Recommend and implement ERP process improvements to optimise efficiency and automation Drive architectural best practices across the NetSuite ecosystem Scripting & Customisation Develop, test, deploy, and maintain SuiteScript 2.0 / 2.1 customisations Audit and optimise existing scripts to improve performance, scalability, and maintainability Create and manage advanced workflows, forms, records, and automations using SuiteFlow and SuiteBuilder Technical Troubleshooting & Support Lead root-cause analysis and resolution of technical issues, script failures, integration errors, and data discrepancies Implement permanent fixes and optimisation strategies Support platform stability, scalability, and performance improvements Financial Process Oversight Ensure all technical solutions align with accounting and financial best practices Support and optimise key financial workflows, including: Order-to-Cash (O2C) Procure-to-Pay (P2P) General Ledger (GL) processes Multi-subsidiary financial operations Technical Requirements Advanced proficiency in: SuiteScript 2.0 / 2.1 Map/Reduce Scripts Scheduled Scripts User Event Scripts Client Scripts Proven experience designing and supporting NetSuite API integrations Strong understanding of: SuiteTalk RESTlets SOAP / REST integrations External web services Deep knowledge of: NetSuite financial modules Multi-subsidiary environments ERP architecture and financial workflows Experience with: SuiteFlow SuiteBuilder SuiteAnalytics Workflow automation and reporting solutions Qualifications & Experience 7+ years' experience working with NetSuite development and solution architecture Proven track record designing integrations within banking or financial services environments Experience performing code reviews and optimising legacy customisations Strong ability to translate technical solutions into business and financial outcomes Experience working in complex, enterprise-scale ERP environments Key Competencies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement ability Strong architectural and solution design capability Detail-oriented with a focus on scalability and performance Ability to work independently and drive technical initiatives Preferred Experience Exposure to financial services or banking environments Experience supporting enterprise ERP transformation initiatives Knowledge of governance, security, and compliance considerations within ERP systems #J-18808-Ljbffr
