This role sits within a high‑performing Acquisitions, Investments, and Financial Advisory team responsible for driving growth through strategic investments and complex project financing. You will play a pivotal role in evaluating opportunities, structuring deals, and delivering bankable financial solutions across large‑scale energy projects. Key Responsibilities Lead financial modelling, valuation, and analysis for project investments and acquisitions Drive project finance processes including due diligence, funding strategy, and lender negotiations Advise on deal structuring, risk allocation, and financial optimisation strategies Support commercial teams with insights on project economics and viability Prepare investment cases and present recommendations to senior stakeholders Support financial close processes and execution of debt and equity transactions Monitor market trends, funding sources, and competitor activity within the energy sector Job Experience and Skills Required Education: Degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field; professional qualifications (CFA, CA(SA), CIMA, ACCA) advantageous Experience: Minimum 5 years’ experience in project finance, infrastructure finance, or financial advisory Proven experience in financial modelling (including debt modelling) Exposure to power/renewable energy projects and project financing processes (e.g., REIPPPP or similar programmes) highly advantageous Experience working on transactions through to financial close preferred Skills: Advanced Excel modelling capabilities (VBA advantageous) Strong analytical, commercial, and problem‑solving skills Understanding of project finance structures, funding mechanisms, and risk mitigation Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills Ability to perform in a fast‑paced, high‑performance environment Package & Remuneration R 1 450 000 - R 1 600 000 - Annually #J-18808-Ljbffr
