We’re looking for a Solution Advisor (Gauteng) to join our Sales team! This Solution Advisor role is a 6-month contract position, structured as part-time (20 working hours per week, Monday to Friday). It has a dual purpose: firstly, to actively prospect and secure enterprise-level opportunities, driving innovative and high-value deals; and secondly, to support the Sales Manager in coordinating and strengthening the performance of the sales team. This role also serves as an opportunity to assess the candidate’s potential for progression into a future Sales Management position. As such, the position combines two core functions: The Enterprise Solution Advisor (ESA) will be responsible for identifying, developing, and securing strategic partnerships and deals with corporate clients and government entities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development, excellent negotiation skills, and a deep understanding of the corporate and public sectors. The ESA will work closely with internal teams to create tailored solutions that meet the needs of our clients and drive growth for the organisation. The Sales Manager Support Assistant (SMS) is a vital role designed to provide comprehensive support to the Sales Manager. This position involves assisting in the management of the sales team, facilitating communication, organising schedules, and contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the sales department. The role also serves as an opportunity to evaluate the candidate’s potential for future sales management responsibilities. Key responsibilities Enterprise Solution Advisor (ESA) Identifying and researching potential corporate and government clients aligned to the organisation’s strategic goals. Building and maintaining strong relationships with key decision‑makers across target sectors. Developing tailored proposals and presentations that effectively address client needs and challenges. Leading negotiations to secure commercially sound, mutually beneficial agreements. Managing partnerships to ensure successful implementation and delivery against agreed outcomes. Conducting ongoing market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive insights. Collaborating with internal teams (product, marketing, finance) to deliver customised client solutions. Preparing and presenting regular reports on pipeline, activities, and performance. Maintaining accurate and up‑to‑date CRM records to support effective tracking, reporting, and follow‑up. Achieving and exceeding sales activity and revenue targets. Supporting the Sales Manager in coordinating sales activities, schedules, and operational requirements. Facilitating effective communication across the sales team to ensure alignment and timely information flow. Managing and maintaining sales data, including tracking performance metrics and generating reports. Supporting the execution of sales strategies through coordinating meetings, presentations, and follow‑up actions. Technical skills & requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a similar role, preferably within the corporate or government sectors. Proven track record of successfully closing large‑scale deals and partnerships. Strong understanding of the corporate and government procurement processes. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. High level of integrity and professionalism.
