# Engineering Aid (Fitter)Home / Engineering Aid (Fitter)**Location:**Marble Hall,Limpopo,South AfricaAfrimat Marble Hall (Pty) Ltd, based in Marble Hall has a vacancy for:## Engineering Aid (Fitter)##### Minimum Qualifications / Experience* Grade 12 Certificate* Valid Driver’s License* Experience: 2 years’ experience as Engineering Aid (Fitter)* Mining experience will be an added advantage* Knowledge of cone crushers, jaw crushers and screens* Excellent time management skills and team worker* Willing to work independently, teamwork and under pressure* Willing to work overtime when required* First preference will be given to Ephraim Mogale Municipality candidates and surrounding areas##### Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to):* Risk assessment to be filled in and signed before any job is carried out* Grease all bearings according to prescribed greasing schedule* Check all gearbox oil levels* Report any potential failures on gearboxes, V-belts, motors or bearings* Check that all required pumps around mine are working* Check all dust suppression dams for correct water levels* Check dam levels and ensure that water samples are taken* Ensure water test are in allowable level, open valve to release water into catchment area* Installation of pipes and pump guards* Assist in routine plant inspections - inspection sheets with faults completed action where needed* Assist with gas equipment inspections – leaks tested daily* Assist with welding machine inspections- check loose connection daily* Assist in manufacturing of chutes/liners/bins – always assist Boilermaker with the process* Assist and maintain conveyors (nip guards/guards/walkways) – report and fix any faults – inspection list* Assist in maintenance of crusher liners – cut out crusher liners for the Fitter* Safety – always adhere to all safety rules* Good time keeping and attendance at all times* Follow proper lockout procedure* Assist in daily plant maintenance* Participate in good housekeeping, make sure that the work area is always clean, clean tools and equipment at all the times##### Please send the following documents to apply:Please upload the following documents in one file with the application form to the right.
