Job Responsibilities Deal Origination & Execution Originate high-quality property finance opportunities through proactive market scanning, networking, and strategic client engagement. Structure, analyse, and execute complex debt transactions, including pricing, negotiation, and deal closure. Manage the end-to-end deal lifecycle, including credit approvals, legal processes, and conditions precedent. Client & Stakeholder Management Build and maintain strategic relationships with key clients, investors, and intermediaries within the Western Cape property market. Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders (Credit, Legal, Risk, and Transaction teams) to deliver integrated client solutions. Represent Nedbank in the market through networking, industry forums, and thought leadership initiatives. Conduct rigorous credit analysis, financial modelling, and risk assessments aligned to Nedbank frameworks. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements (FICA, internal governance, environmental standards). Monitor portfolio performance through ongoing client engagement, annual reviews, and risk evaluations. Strategic Contribution Identify market trends and opportunities to enhance Nedbank’s competitive positioning in the property finance sector. Contribute to business strategy execution and process improvement initiatives within the Property Finance unit. Support transformation, sustainability, and corporate responsibility initiatives (e.g., green finance strategy). Leadership & Capability Building Contribute to team performance through mentorship, knowledge sharing, and on-the-job coaching. Essential Qualifications - NQF Level Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees Preferred Qualification CA(SA), CFA, or Master’s degree in a related field Minimum Experience Level Minimum of 8-10 years commercial property finance, investment banking, or structured lending Proven track record in originating and executing complex property finance transactions.
