Set 2 Close is looking for an ambitious Sales Development Representative to join our remote team based in South Africa . You will play a crucial role in the early stages of the sales cycle, turning cold B2B contacts and warm inquiries into qualified opportunities that drive international revenue growth. What You Will Do: The Core Mission As an SDR, you are the first impression and the pipeline builder . Your primary focus is on discovering, nurturing, and qualifying prospects to fuel the Account Executive team. Pipeline Generation: Consistently achieve and exceed monthly targets for Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) and booked meetings. Inbound Response & Qualification: Efficiently manage and qualify all inbound leads to determine alignment with our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP). Targeted Outbound Prospecting: Strategically execute multi-channel outreach (email, cold calls, social selling) to engage decision-makers and influencers within target accounts. Discovery & Needs Assessment: Conduct high-quality initial discovery calls to understand prospect pain points, business needs, and readiness to evaluate our solution. CRM Excellence: Maintain meticulous and up-to-date records of all prospect interactions, activity, and account information within the HubSpot CRM. High-Velocity Activity Expectations This role is rooted in disciplined, high-volume activity supported by cutting‑edge sales technology. Your significant experience will enable you to execute at a high level. Sustained Dialing Focus: Dedicate substantial daily time to connect with prospects, averaging 7 hours of active dialing per workday. High-Volume Commitment: Leverage our parallel dialing system to achieve a high volume of outreach, with an expectation of 300+ dials per day to maximize live conversation rates. Efficiency: Master the use of power/parallel dialers and automated voicemail drops to minimize administrative time and maximize time speaking with prospects. Metrics: Monitor and consistently improve key conversion metrics, including Connect Rate, Talk Time, and Meeting Booked Rate. (Expected to book 20+ meetings per month) What You Bring: Qualifications & Skills Experience & Proven Track Record: A minimum of 3 years of verifiable and proven experience in a high‑volume, quota‑carrying Sales Development, Tele‑sales, or Lead Generation role. Specific expertise operating in call‑center or similar high‑dial environments is mandatory. Communication Mastery: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate value propositions clearly and professionally. Fluency in English is essential. Grit and Resilience: A highly tenacious, self‑motivated individual with a demonstrated history of thriving in high‑pressure, target‑driven environments. Must possess the drive and discipline to operate successfully in a remote, independent setting.
