Industrial Engineering Key Responsibilities:Develop and improve costing models, labour recovery rates, and machine billing structuresAnalyse job profitability, margins, overhead recovery, and operational efficienciesDrive budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and management reportingImplement and maintain practical cost control procedures and reporting systemsSupport estimating and quotation validation for engineering and fabrication projectsImprove ERP/job costing system governance, reporting accuracy, and data integrityMonitor WIP, utilisation, operational performance, and project profitabilityIdentify process improvements, waste reduction opportunities, and cost-saving initiativesWork closely with workshop, fabrication, operations, commercial, and finance teams Minimum Requirements:Relevant qualification in Finance, Cost & Management Accounting, Industrial Engineering, Cost Engineering, or related field5–10 years’ experience within engineering, manufacturing, fabrication, or heavy industrial environmentsStrong experience in job costing, budgeting, forecasting, and project reportingAdvanced Microsoft Excel and reporting capabilityExperience with ERP/job costing systemsStrong analytical, commercial, and operational mindset This role suits a hands-on individual who is comfortable working between the finance office and the production floor, turning operational data into meaningful commercial insights and practical decision-making tools.
