They are seeking a high‑calibre Management Accountant to support financial and operational performance at site level, partnering closely with production, engineering, and operational teams. The successful candidate will play a critical role in analysing operational costs, monitoring profitability, supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, and delivering meaningful financial insight to drive strategic decision‑making. A solid understanding of mining operations, plant performance, production processes, and cost drivers is essential. Exposure to SAP S/4HANA ERP will be highly advantageous. Key Responsibilities Partner with operational management to provide financial insight into mining and plant performance Analyse production costs, operational efficiencies, and key cost drivers across site operations Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis Monitor and report on operational and financial performance against targets Support month‑end reporting, management accounts, and financial reviews Drive cost optimisation initiatives and identify opportunities for operational improvement Provide financial support on capital expenditure, projects, and operational planning Ensure compliance with internal controls, financial policies, and reporting standards Deliver accurate and meaningful reporting to both finance and operational stakeholders Work closely with site leadership to improve commercial decision‑making and operational profitability Experience & Skills Required BCom Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field CIMA qualification or progress toward completion advantageous Minimum 5 years’ experience within the mining industry is essential Proven experience in a Management Accounting role within a mining or heavy industrial environment Strong understanding of mining operations, production processes, and operational cost structures Experience working on‑site within a mining environment Advanced ERP systems exposure, specifically SAP S/4HANA preferred Strong analytical, reporting, and business partnering skills Ability to engage with both finance and operational stakeholders effectively Highly commercial mindset with strong attention to detail and problem‑solving ability #J-18808-Ljbffr
