You will need: Strong buying / procurement experience in the electrical or technical industry Knowledge of electrical components, cables, panels, switchgear and automation parts Ability to source quotes, compare pricing and negotiate with suppliers Experience placing and following up on purchase orders Good understanding of stock availability, lead times and delivery schedules Strong admin, communication and supplier-management skills Ability to work under pressure and handle urgent site requirements Advantageous: Experience with PLC, VSD, instrumentation or control panel components Knowledge of Siemens, Schneider, Omron, ABB or similar brands Experience in electrical contracting, panel building, automation or industrial projects ERP / procurement system experience We are looking for someone who: Can find parts faster than most people find their car keys Knows when “out of stock” really means “let me phone someone who knows someone” Can manage costs without compromising quality Understands that procurement can make or break a project timeline Location: Somerset West / Western Cape #J-18808-Ljbffr
