Candidates MUST be from a gold mining background Duties and Responsibilities Experience in chemical analysis and laboratory procedures, with a strong focus on quality control and safety. Conduct sample testing, fire-assay, and wet chemical analyses. Operate laboratory equipment including AAS, XRF, ICP, UV-Vis, Fusion and Muffle Furnaces. Prepare and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments, ensuring they are calibrated and functioning correctly. Manage laboratory inventory, consumables, and supplier inspections. Maintain laboratory cleanliness and safety. Record and analyze data, preparing reports on findings for management. Minimum Qualifications and Experience Degree in Metallurgical Assaying, Analytical Chemistry or equivalent. Minimum of six years of industrial work experience working in metallurgical assaying laboratories. Experience of fire assaying techniques a prerequisite. In-depth knowledge of analysis of samples by XRF, AAS, and ICP. Knowledge of ISO:17025 QMS implementation. #J-18808-Ljbffr
