Job Description Gaining practical exposure and experience in our Milling QC/QA processes by doing the following: Laboratory and Online Quality Control Reporting Food safety & quality control deviations. Receiving of Raw Material & Packaging Testing of raw material, in-process, and final products prior to approval. Active participation in INVOCOMS. Support of the food safety culture plan on site LIMS capturing and issuing of COAs Skills And Competencies Good understanding of Occupational Health and Safety standards Good understanding of good laboratory practices (GLP) and good manufacturing practices (GMP) Knowledge of ISO 17025 will be advantageous Proactive communication skills Strong numerical ability Strong teamwork ability Understanding housekeeping and ensuring proactive implementation thereof Taking accountability for tasks Analytical thinking Decision making ability Supportiveness Innovation / continuous improvements mindset Sense of urgency / results orientation Respect for self and others Learning aptitude Qualification Requirements Grade 12 Studying towards a National Diploma: Biotechnology or Food Tech or Analytical chemistry (final year) Tertiary institution logbook (stipulating the relevant exposure and experience needed) Experience Requirements No Experience Required Key Outputs Programme Information Accurate record keeping of your workplace exposure and experience in your logbook, to ensure compliance with Seta and your learning institution reporting Proactively report on any formal institutional requirement or training sessions Willing to learn on how to translate your theoretical learning into practice Perform all tasks communicated and required One year workplace exposure and learning experience Working in a pressurised factory environment Working in the quality team on site across all manufacturing teams #J-18808-Ljbffr
