The accountant will have both an immediate and lasting impact on all company operations, helping us to correctly record and allocate business transactions into respective ledgers to ensure detailed analysis and decision making for managers and management. Responsibilities Ensure the integrity of accounting information and reconcile any financial discrepancies by performing or directing research of accounting issues for compliance and establishing quality over transactions and reporting Record and reconcile all financial transactions to ensure accuracy Maintain the general ledger and sub-ledger accounts to ensure completeness and correctness of entries Perform regular reconciliations of bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable Handle AP, verifying payment documentation, referencing outstanding bills, updating debt balance, and conducting disbursement Process invoices, verify accuracy of vendor statements, and ensure timely payments Manage collections and ensure the prompt receipt of payments from customers/clients Monitor aging of receivables and manage credit control procedures Review and reconcile the general ledger, identifying and investigating discrepancies and taking corrective actions Maintain fixed asset register and prepare depreciation journals for both tangible and intangible assets Comply with local financial requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing compliance, and advising management on needed actions Post accruals for revenue and cost Invoicing based on operator reports and calculations from commercial Payroll posting Uploading payments Support yearly financial audits Month‑end closing support to ensure correctness of GLs Monthly balance sheet reconciliation P&L variance analysis Merchant report tracking Intercompany reconciliations Requirements Bachelor's in accounting and finance At least 2‑3 years of relevant accounting experience Advanced Excel level Thorough knowledge of accounting and corporate finance principles and procedures Personal integrity; ability to keep customer and company confidences Experience in audit and international accounting is a value add Good communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively Creative thinking and validation skills Analytical skills with the ability to work with large amounts of data and draw conclusions Seniority level Associate Employment type Full‑time Job function Other Industries IT Services and IT Consulting #J-18808-Ljbffr
