Company: Cape Projects Construction Location: Western Cape (primarily Cape Town & surrounds) Cape Projects Construction is seeking an experienced and driven Contracts Manager to join our team. We are a dynamic growing construction company working closely with an established property developer on a range of residential and mixed-use developments. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has strong commercial and project management skills. Key Responsibilities Oversee and manage multiple construction projects from inception to completion Administer and manage building contracts (JBCC experience essential) Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to required quality standards Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and professional teams Monitor project costs, cash flow, and financial reporting Identify and mitigate all project risks Ensure compliance with all statutory, safety, and regulatory requirements Liaise with clients, consultants, council, NHBRC and internal stakeholders Handle claims, variations, and contractual correspondence Minimum Requirements Relevant qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or similar Minimum 5–10 years’ experience in a Contracts Manager or Senior Site Management role Strong knowledge of JBCC contracts and construction law Proven track record managing residential or mixed-use developments Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills Strong financial and commercial acumen Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Proficient in CCS and Smartsheets Advantageous Experience working directly for a property developer or in a developer-led environment Exposure to medium- to high-density residential developments Professional registration (or working towards it) What We Offer Opportunity to work on high-quality developments Collaborative environment with direct developer involvement Competitive remuneration package based on experience #J-18808-Ljbffr
