Responsibilities: Verifying incoming enquiries via telephone, email or fax. Communicating to relevant personnel regarding credit applications for first-time buyers. Maintaining a daybook of all incoming enquiries and submitting quotations. Receiving customer orders and reviewing them against quotations. Processing all acceptable orders. Resolving any variances between orders and quotations. Generating and processing buy-out orders to approved suppliers, including work-in-progress orders. Liaising with the Managing Director and General Manager of Product Champion on technical issues. Participating in quarterly stock takes. And all other related duties that might be required by management from time to time. Levels of Authority: Back-to-back orders from customers signed off by Internal Sales Manager. Purchasing of buy-outs. Submission of quotations. Measurable Outputs: Obtaining a hit rate of 80% minimum on incoming enquiries. Maximum of 3 documented errors per month on order processing. Monthly hit-rate report. Monthly action book report on sales errors. Team player. Must be able to work under pressure. Be available to work overtime if/when required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
