Overview STADIO Higher Education is looking for a part time Lecturer: Language conversational sign language Responsibilities Lecture and assess contact learning students in the BEd (foundation phase teaching) and BEd (intermediate phase teaching) programmes in the module Language conversational sign language (LCSL152) Perform the duties of a Lecturer Collaborate with the module coordinator and module team on teaching, learning, and assessment Use a learning management system independently and/or work collaboratively to develop and deliver modules Participate in school-based teaching practice assessments Provide academic support to students Complete all quality assurance requirements related to the modules and programmes Ensure prompt and effective communication with students, colleagues, line managers, and other members of management Ensure administrative efficiency, effectiveness and compliance with all policies and SOPs Participate in and attend meetings and workshops Fulfil all reasonably expected administrative functions relating to the position as requested by the relevant line manager Minimum requirements At least 3 years of teaching and/or lecturing experience in the relevant phase/disciplines Must be in possession of a relevant teaching qualification Knowledge and understanding of the subject matter as well as work-based learning (teaching practice) Experience in curriculum and materials development Experience in online teaching and learning environments will be an advantage Qualifications Minimum bachelor of education honours or equivalent qualification with relevant study in deaf studies or deaf education #J-18808-Ljbffr
