Cape Town, South Africa | Posted on 28/04/2026 Responsibilities Store Layouts and Space Planning Develop and maintain store layouts, floor plans, and planograms for all store formats. Allocate space based on product performance, category strategy, and seasonal trends. Ensure optimal product adjacencies and logical customer flow within stores. Support new store openings, refurbishments, and relocations with detailed space plans. Data Analysis & Performance Optimisation Analyse sales, stock turn, and product performance data to inform space allocation. Continuously review and adjust space plans to improve productivity per square metre. Monitor category performance and recommend layout changes to maximise profitability. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement Work closely with Buying and Operations teams. Partner with Store Leaders to ensure effective implementation of layouts. Provide guidance and training on planogram execution where required. Planogram Development & Execution Create detailed planograms that reflect brand standards and commercial priorities. Ensure consistency across stores while allowing for format and size variations. Conduct store visits to audit compliance and identify improvement opportunities. Project Support Assist with store rollout plans, including fixture placement and space utilisation. Support promotional campaigns and seasonal changes through layout adjustments. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the retail environment. Requirements Diploma or Degree in Retail Management, Business, Logistics, Interior Design, or related field. 2–5 years’ experience in space planning.
